ETC MEDIA is the only Quebec magazine devoted entirely to digital and new media art practices. By taking this position, the magazine recognizes the great wealth to be found in the arts using digital technology, and broaches this from the perspective of sociological, political, technological and scientific repercussions.
Offering a new editorial direction that enables a broadening of the publication, the magazine will work with art communities from within, along with writers interested in the change of languages and ways of working.
ETC MEDIA presents local and international art scenes concerned with digital technologies, electronics, sound, new medias, immersive and interactive artwork, photography, cinema, video and Web art, including all other disciplines that integrate the digital.
Rewarded for the audacity of its design, the magazine is both in French and in English, with translations, and has 88 pages of colour. Publication dates are February 15, June 15 and October 15.
ETC MEDIA is a non-profit magazine published with support from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), the Conférence régionale des élus des Laurentides (CRÉ) and Canadian Heritage.
