Save the dates : Res Artis Conference in Montréal and Québec City, October 5th to 10th 2010

June 18, 2009

The Regroupement des centres d’artistes autogérés du Québec is pleased to announce that the dates of the next Res Artis Conference are October 5th to the 10th 2010. The Conference will take place in downtown Montreal with one day at Complexe Méduse in Quebec City on Friday the 8th. The Conference’s program and registration formalities will be available this Fall.

Res Artis is an association of over 200 organizations, in 50 countries, operating artist residency programs, primarily in the fields of the visual arts and literature. The 2010 Conference will stimulate an in depth réflexion on residency programs and artist-run culture in the Americas. Thanks to a special partnership with the Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference, all Quebecois and Canadian artist-run centres will be invited to take part and share ideas with members of the Res Artis network.
The RCAAQ would like to thank its partners for confirmed financial support of the event:

  • Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec
  • Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference (ARCCC/CCCAA)
  • Canada Arts Council
  • Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine du Québec
