Angles Digital Arts [Elektra10 Essays] is a first publication that gathering texts by three authors [Daniel Canty + Vincent Bonin + Grégory Chatonsky] active in the field of new media arts, each of whom has developed his thoughts on aspects of concepts that are closely, but differently, related to issues of key importance to Elektra.
To commemorate ten years of the international digital arts event Elektra, Angles Digital Arts presents the encounter between a theoretical standpoint, inspired and informed by practice, on the concept of "tra(ns)duction" (Chatonsky), a historical perspective exploring various media arts festivals (Bonin), and a litterary essay in which the metaphorical principle of the machine is the driving force for the reflection (Canty).
Also, the book underline the ten years of the festival through a photographic selection that recall strong moments of Elektra since 1999.  
Elektra is a Montreal cultural event of international calibre, presenting artists and works that combine groundbreaking electronic music with visual creations born of new technology.
